Michael S. Sheehy

Michael has spent the past 34+ years helping families, individuals, non-profits and corporate clients with their goals through his independent financial advice. He is a Registered General Securities Representative and a Registered Investment Advisor Representative through LPL Financial. Additionally, he holds the designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Accredited Investment Fiduciary®.

Michael is a member of LPL Financials’ Retirement Plan Consulting Program (RPCP), which allows qualified financial professionals to operate under the LPL Financial corporate Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and allows approved financial professionals to provide plan sponsor clients with fiduciary services with respect to the plan’s investments. Michael functions both as 3(21) fiduciary and 3(38) investment manager to his corporate retirement plan sponsors. He has twice been recognized as a Financial Times top 401k Retirement Adviser.

Prior to joining Wealth Advisory Services, Michael worked as Vice President and Investment Officer of Doylestown-based Plan Advisory Services (PAS – Sold to CapTrust in 2006), a financial advisory firm offering independent qualified plan consulting to employers and retirement planning advice to employees. At PAS, he helped small and medium-sized businesses, foundations, and non-profits design and manage their retirement plans.

A graduate of Dickinson College, Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

Michael has volunteered his time in the community in varying capacities having previously served as Board President and Treasurer of the Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA), Board President and Treasurer of the Community Conservatory of Music and on the Planning Commissions of Buckingham and Solebury Townships.
When he isn’t working, Michael enjoys spending time with his two children, Christoper and Sarah. Michael also enjoys fishing, playing golf and supporting Arsenal Football Club.
